Risk Disclaimer

Last updated: February 27, 2026

Important Notice: Cryptocurrency involves significant risk. Please read this entire disclaimer carefully before using Wallet of USDT. You may lose some or all of your digital assets.

1. Not Financial Advice

Wallet of USDT is a software tool for managing USDT (Tether) across blockchain networks. Nothing in this application, website, or documentation constitutes:

  • Financial, investment, or trading advice
  • A recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any cryptocurrency
  • A solicitation to engage in cryptocurrency transactions
  • Tax, legal, or accounting advice

You should consult qualified professional advisors before making any financial decisions involving cryptocurrency.

2. Cryptocurrency Risks

By using Wallet of USDT, you acknowledge and accept the following risks:

2.1 Value Fluctuation

While USDT is a stablecoin designed to maintain a 1:1 peg with the US Dollar, there is no absolute guarantee that this peg will be maintained at all times. USDT has experienced temporary deviations from its peg historically. You accept the risk that the value of USDT may fluctuate.

2.2 Stablecoin-Specific Risks

  • Issuer Risk: USDT is issued by Tether Limited. The value of USDT depends on the solvency and reserve practices of Tether Limited, which is a third party unrelated to Wallet of USDT.
  • Reserve Risk: The adequacy of reserves backing USDT is subject to ongoing debate and regulatory scrutiny.
  • Regulatory Risk: Regulatory actions against Tether Limited or stablecoins in general could affect the value and usability of USDT.
  • Depegging Risk: Under extreme market conditions, USDT may trade at a discount or premium to the US Dollar.

2.3 Blockchain and Technology Risks

  • Irreversible Transactions: Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed once confirmed. Sending USDT to the wrong address will result in permanent loss.
  • Smart Contract Risk: Wallet of USDT relies on smart contracts (ERC-4337, USDT token contracts). Smart contracts may contain vulnerabilities or bugs that could result in loss of funds.
  • Network Risk: Blockchain networks may experience congestion, forks, or outages that delay or prevent transactions.
  • Bridge Risk: Cross-chain bridge operations carry additional risks including liquidity limitations and smart contract vulnerabilities.
  • Protocol Risk: Third-party protocols (ZeroDev, Across Protocol) may experience downtime, bugs, or security breaches.

2.4 Security Risks

  • Key Loss: If you lose your private key, recovery phrase, and cloud backup access, your funds will be permanently inaccessible. We cannot recover lost keys.
  • Device Compromise: If your device is compromised by malware or physical access by an unauthorized party, your wallet may be at risk.
  • Phishing: Fake websites or applications may attempt to steal your credentials. Always verify you are using the official Wallet of USDT application.

2.5 Regulatory Risks

  • Cryptocurrency regulations vary by jurisdiction and are evolving rapidly
  • Your ability to use cryptocurrency may be restricted or prohibited by future regulations
  • You are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws in your jurisdiction
  • Tax obligations related to cryptocurrency transactions are your responsibility

3. No Guarantees

Wallet of USDT does not guarantee:

  • The continuous, uninterrupted availability of the Service
  • The security of any blockchain network or smart contract
  • The accuracy of balance data or transaction information
  • That the software is free from bugs or vulnerabilities
  • The value or stability of USDT or any cryptocurrency
  • The availability or functionality of third-party services

4. Non-Custodial Acknowledgment

You understand and agree that:

  • Wallet of USDT is a non-custodial wallet — we do not hold your funds
  • You are solely responsible for the security of your private keys and recovery phrase
  • We cannot freeze, reverse, or cancel any blockchain transaction
  • We cannot recover funds sent to incorrect addresses
  • We cannot restore access to wallets for which the keys and backup have been lost
  • You bear all risk of loss associated with using the Service

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WALLET OF USDT, ITS DEVELOPERS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

  • You understand the risks associated with cryptocurrency
  • You are making an informed and voluntary decision to use the Service
  • You accept all risks described herein and in the Terms of Service
  • You will not hold Wallet of USDT liable for any losses
